A skatepark which young people helped to design has opened in Lancashire.

The facility at Jubilee Recreation Ground in Adlington took 12 weeks to complete and features quarter pipes, a jump box and a 180 degree rollover.

It is part of a phase of improvements which include new play and fitness equipment, fencing and landscaping.

Councillor Bev Murray from Chorley Council said the new it was "a major improvement to facilities for young people in the area".
