Three arrested in Preston after baby girl suffers 'unexplained' injuries
Three people have been arrested after an eight-week-old girl suffered wounds including a bleed to the brain.
Staff at Royal Preston Hospital contacted police after she was admitted on Monday with injuries described by officers as "unexplained".
The baby was transferred to Manchester Children's Hospital where she is stable but poorly, police added.
Lancashire Police arrested two women, aged 21 and 51, and a 25-year-old man on suspicion of neglect and wounding.
Officers said the suspects, all from Preston, have been bailed until later this month.
