Boy, 14, admits killing Paul Walker in Blackpool

A 14-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a man found dead in Blackpool on New Year's Day.

Paul Walker, 52, of Normoss Avenue was found unconscious in Sutton Place in the early hours and died in hospital.

A post-mortem examination showed he suffered fatal injuries to his head, face and neck.

The boy, who cannot be named, appeared at Preston Crown Court where was remanded into the care of the local authority until sentencing on 10 April.
