Burnley woman found dead was asphyxiated
A woman found dead at her home was asphyxiated, a post-mortem examination has found.
Thirty-three-year-old Nicola Haworth's body was found by police at a house in Wilton Street, Burnley, on Friday.
Her nine-month-old daughter was discovered unharmed and taken to a "place of safety", Lancashire Police said.
A Burnley man, 34, held on suspicion of murder, has been detained under the Mental Health Act in a secure unit.
The woman's family have paid tribute to her.
"My sister was a beautiful woman who was a caring, loving, remarkable person. She was a fantastic mummy, sister and aunty," said her brother Robert Haworth.
