Lancashire Police officer Jayson Lobo sacked for leaking incidents
A Lancashire police officer has been sacked for gross misconduct after leaking details of incidents.
PC Jayson Lobo, from Blackburn, faced nine allegations of sending electronic communications with details of police incidents to third parties.
Each allegation was proven at a Special Case hearing in Leyland and the former UK middle distance athlete was dismissed without notice.
In an unrelated case, Mr Lobo is due to stand trial for voyeurism offences.
The former Commonwealth Games runner has denied 18 offences against eight women, allegedly committed between December 2011 and May 2015.
The former Preston-based officer is on bail ahead of a trial at Liverpool Crown Court on 16 January.
