Otley teenager hit by car described as 'wonderful son'

A teenager who died on New Year's Eve after being hit by a car in a West Yorkshire town has been described as "the most loving and wonderful son".

Jamie Still, 16, from Otley, died after being hit by a silver Vauxhall Corsa on Boroughgate on Friday night.

In a statement Jamie's parents said they were "utterly devastated" by their son's death.

A 20-year-old man driving the car was arrested in connection with the incident and later released on bail.

Jamie's parents, Karen Strong and Mike Still said: "He was a caring and thoughtful young man who was much loved by his family and friends."
