BBC Radio Leeds is hosting a celebration of film at the city's magnificent Hyde Park Picture House.

The film, from a shortlist of six shot in West Yorkshire, voted most popular by listeners of the station's breakfast show will be shown On Tuesday, 19 April.

Presenters Katherine Hannah and Martin Kelner will show the winning film.

To influence which film is shown you can vote for one of six, all of which were made in West Yorkshire.

You could also attend the star-studded evening at the Hyde Park Picture House.

Here's how to vote:

Text the word FILM followed by the letter of the film of your choice to 81333 Texts will be charged at your standard message rate

  • For the 1959 film Room at the Top - text FILM followed by A to 81333
  • Billy Liar - text FILM followed by B to 81333
  • Railway Children - text FILM C to 81333
  • Private Function - text FILM D to 81333
  • LA Without a Map - text FILM followed by E to 81333
  • The Damned United - text FILM followed by F to 81333

Texts will be charged at your standard message rate.

Or you can email your entries to leedsfilm@bbc.co.uk putting in the header FILM followed by the letter of your favourite film.

The vote is now open and will close at 9am on Friday 8 April. Entries after that time will not be counted and you will still be charged for your text entry.

Here's how to attend:

To be in the audience you can text 81333 followed by the word FILM and the names of up to two people you wish to attend.

Or email leedsfilm@bbc.co.uk with the names of up two people you wish to attend.

If you are bringing children a maximum of two will be accepted per adult. Multiple applications in the same name will not be eligible for selection.

Texts will be charged at your standard message rate. The audience allocation is on a first come first served basis so make sure you get in quick!
