Woman stabbed in Leeds city bus station

A woman has been arrested after a woman was stabbed at Leeds city centre bus station.

A 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed inside the depot at about 1130 BST, police confirmed.

Detectives have arrested a 20-year-old woman in connection with the incident.

The bus station was closed for a detailed forensic examination and commuters were urged to use alternative routes or transport.

The station re-opened earlier.
