Woman charged over Leeds bus station stabbing

A 20-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing at Leeds bus station.

The victim, also a 20-year-old woman, was seriously injured in the incident at the city centre station on Monday.

She is in a serious but stable condition in hospital, police said. The bus station closed after the incident and reopened on Tuesday.

Rebecca Jackson, of Aston Terrace, Bramley, Leeds, has been remanded in custody by city magistrates.
