Three women who died when their car was in collision with a lorry near Leeds included a mother and daughter.

The driver, Jean Price, 58 and front seat passenger Ethel Stenhouse, 82, were mother and daughter from Sunderland. Both died at the scene.

Back seat passenger Honor Burrell, 84, also from Sunderland, was taken to hospital but later died.

The crash happened at the junction of Arthington Lane and Weardley Lane, near Harewood, on Wednesday evening.
