Four more men man arrested over Chapeltown shooting

Four more men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a man in the face in Leeds.

The 34-year-old remains in a stable condition in Leeds General Infirmary after he was shot in the Chapeltown area at about 18:40 BST on Monday.

Two men, aged 20 and 25, from Leeds, were arrested on Wednesday and remain in custody.

West Yorkshire Police said four more men, aged 23, 27, 31 and 38, were arrested earlier.

Officers from the force's homicide and major inquiry team are investigating and have appealed for witnesses.
