The death of a teenager whose body was found in the River Calder in West Yorkshire after a night out was accidental, a coroner has ruled.

Ben Manning's body was recovered from the river at Thornes Lane Wharf, Wakefield, in February.

The 17-year-old, from Swillington, Leeds, went missing following a night out on 22 January.

Coroner David Hinchliff recorded a verdict of accidental death at the inquest in Wakefield.

A music foundation has been set up in the memory of the teenager, who was a promising musician.
