Three witnesses have been traced by police investigating a fire at a farm in which a two-year-old girl died.

Isobel Dobson died in a van which caught fire at Hessle Farm in Wragby, near Wakefield, on 30 September.

The three witnesses were seen on footage, taken by a local resident, in a field overlooking the farm shortly after the fire broke out.

Det Supt Sukhbir Singh said officers would be speaking to the three and he also appealed for any other witnesses.

The cause of the fire is unknown. Isobel's stepfather, who was arrested over the incident, remains on bail.

The family had been at the farm tending to a horse before the fire started in a barn being used to store hay.

Isobel's one-year-old half-sister, who was also in the van, was rescued from the vehicle and treated for burns.

Det Supt Singh said the cause of the fire had not yet been established and a joint investigation by the police and fire service was continuing.

An inquest into Isobel's death opened last week and was adjourned.
