Teen 'traumatised' after Leeds sex attack

A man subjected a teenager to a serious sexual assault as another man acted as a look-out.

The 18-year-old victim was making her way home across Cross Flatts Park in Cross Flatts, Leeds, when she was attacked on Friday night.

West Yorkshire Police said the assault ended when the look-out saw someone coming and the men ran off towards Cross Flatts Avenue.

The woman is said to be "extremely traumatised" by the incident.

A police spokesman said the area had been examined by forensic specialists.

The woman's attacker is described as Asian, in his late 20s to late 30s, 5ft 9in tall, skinny, with brown eyes and a small moustache.

He wore a black zipped-up hooded top with McKenzie written on the left hand side of his chest and black jogging bottoms.

The second man, who acted as a look-out, is described as taller than the first man, chubby, wearing dark clothing with a hood over a dark baseball cap.

Det Ch Insp Lisa Griffin said: "It appears the attack ended because they could hear people coming so clearly there were people in the area at the time who may have vital information to help the inquiry.

"I would ask them to get in touch with us now."
