Man dies after Apperley Bridge motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist has died after his bike was in a collision with a Land Rover in Bradford.

The rider, a 41-year-old man from Leeds who has not yet been named, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary, where he later died.

The crash, at the junction of Apperley Lane and The Avenue, Apperley Bridge, took place just before 07:00 BST on Thursday.

West Yorkshire Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
