Man killed in Leeds factory roof fall

A man has died after falling through the roof of a disused factory in Leeds during an alleged burglary.

An ambulance crew called police after they found the body of Daniel Mark Frere inside the building on Barkly Road, Beeston, on Sunday afternoon.

Police are not treating the 29-year-old's death as suspicious.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said three local men aged 36, 39 and 49 had been arrested on suspicion of burglary. They remain in custody.

The death of Mr Frere, who lived in Beeston, has been reported to the coroner.

A police investigation into the circumstances of the incident is continuing.
