Funeral for Stanningley bypass crash couple

The funeral has taken place of a couple who were killed in a car crash in Leeds on New Year's Day.

David Metcalf, 68, and his wife Dorothy, 65, died after their car was involved in a collision with a vehicle on the Stanningley bypass.

Eduard Mereohra, 26, of Autumn Grove, Burley, Leeds, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

Mr and Mrs Metcalf lived in Tinshill, Leeds. Their funeral was held at Holy Trinity Church in Cookridge.
