Huddersfield builder murder suspect appears at crown court

A man has appeared at crown court charged with murdering a missing builder from West Yorkshire.

John Hay, 61, from Fenay Bridge, Huddersfield, has not been seen since 15 March.

His white van was later seen in East Yorkshire and found abandoned by the Humber Bridge.

Kenneth Bill, 63, of Upper Hagg Road, Netherthong, was remanded in custody when he appeared at Bradford Crown Court. He will reappear on 6 June.
