A 10-year-old girl who served up Christmas dinner for 36 homeless people said she was "determined" to do it in memory of her father.

Craig McNulty, 38, planned to open the family cafe in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire to the homeless on Christmas Day, but he died after a fall on 1 August.

His daughter Gracie decided to see his plan through though.

She said: "I felt like I'd do something for someone else instead of myself... I felt I must do it for my dad."

Gracie's mother, Sharon McNulty, runs the Grilled and Filtered cafe.

Mrs McNulty said: "She's an amazing little girl, she's like her dad, just like her dad in every way shape and form, and he'd be so proud of her now.

"He'd love it."
