Security has been stepped up at two tower blocks in Leeds after a series of arson attacks.
Since 8 November there have been about 20 incidents at the Raynville Grange and Raynville Court buildings in Bramley, West Yorkshire Police said.
Rubbish has been set on fire in or next to bin chutes, with most incidents happening on the fifth and sixth floor landings at Raynville Grange.
Police urged anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesman said: "Officers from the Armley, Bramley and Stanningley Neighbourhood Policing Team have increased patrols in the area to reassure residents and deter further incidents and the council has stepped up security at the buildings."
