Cleckheaton factory: Two injured in explosion

Two people have been taken to hospital with minor injuries after an explosion at a factory in West Yorkshire.

The fire service said it happened at about 20:20 GMT at Flexitallic on Hunsworth Lane in Cleckheaton, after a fire in an oven used in the production of gaskets.

A spokesperson said the explosion happened on the first floor of the building, and the fire was confined to the oven.

Three fire crews attended the incident.
