Keighley gas fire causes electricity cut
A gas main fire caused the electricity to be cut off to 150 houses in West Yorkshire.
Leaking gas caught fire at about 05:00 BST at roadworks in Bracken Bank Grove, Keighley, said West Yorkshire Fire Service.
Members of the public had reported sparks and a blaze in the middle of the road and the electricity was turned off as a precaution.
The police cordoned off the area and the road was closed.
Work to repair the damage to a fractured main also caused disruption to the gas supply for about 60 houses in the area.
