James Leslie to face trial accused of shooting PC Suzanna Hudson

A man accused of the attempted murder of two police officers allegedly shot at in Leeds is expected to face a trial at the end of April 2014.

James Leslie, 37, of Queenswood Drive, Headingley, was arrested on 4 December several hours after PC Suzanne Hudson, 33, suffered shotgun wounds.

PC Hudson and PC Richard Whiteley were attending a call in Cardigan Road in Headingley.

Mr Leslie appeared from Wakefield jail via a video link at Leeds Crown Court.
