Arrests in Bradford 'targeted' shooting investigation

Five men have been arrested in relation to what police have described as a "targeted" shooting in Bradford.

The men, aged 24, 27, 32, 40 and 41, were arrested over an attack on Saturday, in Little Horton Lane, in which a man, 42, was seriously injured.

The group were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit attempted murder and of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life.

West Yorkshire Police said the victim is in a stable condition in hospital.

On Sunday, Det Chf Insp Adrian Taylor said that while police enquiries were at an early stage it was believed to be a "targeted incident".
