Police name man in West Yorkshire murder inquiry

Police have named a man they want to trace in connection with the murder of Colin Pierre who was shot in Leeds.

Mr Pierre's body was discovered in woods in Chapel Allerton in the north of the city on Tuesday.

West Yorkshire Police said they wanted to speak to Anthony Micah Pyke, 31, from Meanwood, Leeds.

Detectives said two men, aged 41 and 48, who were arrested on Thursday in Pudsey, West Yorkshire on suspicion of murder remained in custody.

Det Ch Insp Jim Dunkerley said Mr Pyke may have a braided or shaven hairstyle and had tattoos on his neck.

He added: "Anyone who sees him should not approach him and should contact police immediately on 999."
