Murder inquiry as woman, 62, found with 'stab injuries' in Leeds

The body of a 62-year-old woman has been found with suspected stab injuries at a property in Leeds.

The woman, who has not been named, was discovered in Cherry Lea Court, in the Rawdon area of Leeds, at about 11:30 BST on Monday.

West Yorkshire Police said it believed the woman had been stabbed in the chest and back. A post-mortem test is due to take place later.

A 65-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
