Bradford company rebuilds Citroen 2CV French classic

19 August 2014 Last updated at 21:53 BST

A West Yorkshire company which revamps old Citroen 2CVs has said it is selling increasing numbers of the cars to France.

The Bradford firm 2CV City builds and refurbishes the Citroen Dolly, which has not been manufactured since 1990.

Owner Tony Shields said he was "ridiculed" by colleagues when he started the business several years ago, but now he says the company is struggling to keep up with demand.

Mr Shields said in a recent order, 30 of the car's chassis had been sent to France in one shipment alone.

The company also rebuilds the Citroen H Van.
