M606 crash near Bradford: Woman dies in four-vehicle collision

A woman has died in a collision involving two heavy goods vehicles and two cars on the outskirts of Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police said the vehicles collided on the M606 motorway near the city on Tuesday.

The female driver of one of the cars suffered fatal injuries and the 60-year-old male driver of the other car was said to have been seriously hurt.

Police want to speak to anyone who saw the crash which took place on the northbound carriageway at 14:00 BST.

A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is being questioned by officers.
