A Slovakian man who died after being stabbed during a row at a house party has been named by police.

Marek Benak, 23, was found dead at an address on Great Horton Road in Bradford on Thursday morning.

West Yorkshire Police said a 42-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of his murder had been released without charge and enquiries were continuing.

A post-mortem found that Mr Benak, from the Great Horton area of the city, had died from a single stab wound.

Det Ch Insp Mark McManus, of West Yorkshire Police, said: "We are urging anyone who was in Great Horton Road between 03:00 and 03:30 BST on Thursday 23 October to come forward.

"We are also keen to trace a man who was seen leaving the address around that time, walking down Great Horton Road towards Bradford city centre."

The man is described as white, possibly of eastern European origin, with a pale complexion. He is thought to be around 6ft tall and was wearing dark clothing, a dark baseball cap and light blue jeans.
