Cyclist John Radford dies after road rage crash

A cyclist has died 16 months after he was knocked off his bike in a road rage incident.

John Radford, 70, was left critically ill following an altercation with Michael Gledhill on a road near Huddersfield in July 2013

Gledhill was found guilty of causing serious injury by dangerous driving in October.

He is due to be sentenced on 25 November at Leeds Crown Court.

Mr Radford was the chairman of Huddersfield and District Cyclists and had been promoting a campaign calling for better investigation of road accidents.
