Bradford toddler death: Gundeep Sanghera makes first court appearance

A mother charged with murdering her two-year-old daughter who died after falling from an upstairs window at their Bradford home, has been bailed.

Amrita Kaur fell into the garden of her home in Delamere Street, in the Marshfields area, in February.

Gundeep Sanghera, 37, appeared at Bradford Crown Court in a wheelchair after being critically injured in the incident.

She was bailed to reappear on 23 February 2015 for a plea hearing.

Ms Sanghera appeared before the Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC.

A provisional trial date has been set for 15 June 2015.
