Missing West Yorkshire woman found safe and well

A West Yorkshire woman who sparked a police hunt after disappearing from a Leeds hospital has been found safe and well.

Carly Smith, 33, from Dewsbury, was found in the Harehills area of Leeds on Sunday, according to West Yorkshire Police.

Officers had been searching for her since she was last seen leaving St James's Hospital on 31 December.

Police issued CCTV footage in an attempt to find her.
