Man arrested in Clement Desmier murder probe

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a Bradford grandfather was stabbed to death more than two years ago.

Clement "Butch" Desmier, 68, was found dead at his house in Rowlestone Rise, Ravenscliffe, on 23 August, 2012.

The father-of-six and grandfather of 10 had suffered multiple injuries, including 40 stab wounds.

The arrested suspect remained in custody on Tuesday, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said.
