Bradford mobility scooter rider, 70, killed in crash

A man has been arrested after a 70-year-old on a mobility scooter was killed in a crash in Bradford.

The man was knocked from his scooter after being hit by a Seat Leon Cupra as he crossed Leeds Road from the Thornbury Avenue side at 12:40 GMT on Friday.

West Yorkshire Police said he died at the scene.

Police have arrested a 34-year-old man from Bradford on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
