Man, 21, in court over Harehills shooting

A 21-year-old man has appeared in court over a shooting in Leeds which left a man dead.

Shuel Ali Hussain, 33, was killed by a single bullet to the stomach while sat in his car in Pasture Road, Harehills, on 9 March.

Tristan Gatewood, 21, of Hall Lane, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court, charged with conspiracy to murder.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on 29 April.

Six men have already appeared in court in connection with the case.
