Daria Pionko death: Man admits Leeds 'sex worker' killing
A man has admitted killing a 21-year-old Polish national described by police as a sex worker.
Lewis Pierre, 24, pleaded guilty to robbery and the manslaughter of Daria Pionko but denied murder when he appeared at Leeds Crown Court.
Ms Pionko was found seriously injured in Springwell Road, Holbeck, on 23 December 2015. She died in hospital.
Mr Pierre, of Mile's Hill, Leeds, was remanded in custody until 27 June to stand trial.
Ms Pionko was found in a defined, managed, area where sex workers operate during set hours.
