Forty Firefighters are tackling a large fire at a primary school in West Yorkshire.

Crews were called to Airedale Junior School, on Fryston Road, Castleford, at about 19:15 BST.

The blaze, in the roof of the building, covers a 20m by 40m (66ft by 131ft) area, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.

According to the school's website, the roof was in the process of having repair work carried out.
