West Yorkshire firefighters battle two major blazes

Firefighters in West Yorkshire have dealt with two large blazes.

Five engines, including aerial appliances, were called at 09:46 BST to a fire at a petrol station on Halifax Road, Birchencliffe, Huddersfield which destroyed the roof of the shop.

In Thornton near Bradford firefighters remain at the scene of a large fire at a mill. At its height 10 fire engines attended the blaze.

There are no reports of injuries at either fire.
