Two people arrested after "potentially explosive" chemicals were found at a house in West Yorkshire have been bailed.

A 48-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were detained on suspicion of explosives offences on Sunday, at the property in Parkwood Street, Keighley.

Neighbouring properties were evacuated "as a precautionary measure" before residents were allowed to return home.

The suspects were released on bail on Monday, said police.

An army bomb disposal unit, from Catterick, carried out a controlled explosion and "potentially dangerous material" was removed, police said.

It was being treated "as an isolated incident", said North East Counter Terrorism Unit.
