Murder arrest in Leeds after body found

A man has been arrested following the discovery of a body in Leeds.

The victim, who police believe to be in his 40s, was found at a house on Lanshaw Crescent in the Belle Isle area shortly before 18:20 GMT on Thursday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene but police have not confirmed the cause of his death.

West Yorkshire Police said a 34-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder and remained in custody.
