Bingley man James Etherington dies 10 days after Bijou nightclub injury

A man has died 10 days after he was seriously injured outside a nightclub, sparking a murder inquiry.

James Etherington suffered head injuries in the early hours of 25 November after an incident outside Bijou nightclub in Chapel Lane, Bingley.

The 24-year-old, from Bingley, was taken to hospital but later died, police said.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the incident.

A 31-year-old and a 30-year-old were released under investigation, while a 23-year-old has been bailed.

A 28-year-old man has been released without charge.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
