Driver who died after Leicestershire crash identified

A driver who suffered fatal injuries in a road collision in Leicestershire has been identified by police.

The crash happened on the B587 at Worthington, near its junction with the A453, on the afternoon of 19 September.

Frederick Myers, 70, of Loughborough, was taken to hospital but died on 20 September. Two people in the same car suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Officers have renewed an appeal for anybody with information about the incident to come forward.

Two people in the second car involved were not injured.
