A body found in a Leicester canal is believed to be that of a woman who went missing at the end of February.

Last week, searches of the River Soar and the Grand Union Canal - near to where Kathryn Bradly was last seen - failed to find anything.

But on Monday officers were called to a stretch of the canal near Westbridge Close where a body had been seen.

Although formal identification has not been carried out, it is thought to be that of the 57-year-old, said police.
