Police confirm Leicester canal body is missing woman

A body found in a Leicester canal is that of a woman who went missing at the end of February, police have confirmed.

Last week, searches of the River Soar and the Grand Union Canal, near to where Kathryn Bradly was last seen, failed to find anything.

But on Monday officers were called to a stretch of the canal near Westbridge Close where a body had been seen.

The 57-year-old, from the Upperton Road area of Leicester was reported missing by her family on 27 February.
