Two charged with money laundering after Leicester raid

Two men have been charged with money laundering and a substantial amount of cash has been recovered by police after a raid in Leicester.

The men, aged 54 and 50, were arrested In the Belgrave area.

About £200,000 worth of cash was recovered and the men have been charged with five counts of money laundering and conspiracy to launder money.

They appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court and were remanded to appear at Leicester Crown Court on 8 July.
