A man and woman have been arrested after more than 700 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to £150,000 were seized by police.

Officers went to an address on The Moorwoods in Oadby on Tuesday following a tip-off by a member of the public.

Police arrested a 37-year-old man and a woman, 31, in connection with the find.

Sgt Steve King said: "Early signs are this is one of the largest cannabis factories found in Leicestershire."
