Richmond Primary School's new £4.5m building opens

A new £4.5m building has opened at a Leicestershire primary school.

The facility, at Richmond Primary School in Hinckley, includes eight classrooms, a science room, computers and a library.

A new ball court and gardening area has also been added to the grounds of the school.

The county council said it worked closely with pupils, staff and governors on the design of the new facilities.

The site now also includes two satellite classrooms for special needs pupils from the town's Dorothy Goodman School.
