Crews called to Lutterworth workshop blaze

A fire at a furniture workshop in a Leicestershire town has severely damaged the building, fire officials said.

The A426 High Street in Lutterworth was closed for several hours after the fire which started at about 0600 BST on Friday.

Six appliances were called to the scene and crews tackled a fire in the roof of the building.

Diversions were put in place after the road was closed in both directions.
