Driver dies when car leaves road near Coalville

A driver who died when her car left the road near Coalville in Leicestershire has been named by police.

The Ford Ka came off the A511 Ashby Road, on the Coalville side of junction 13 of the A42, just after midnight.

Aimee Natasha Crowden, 26, of Swadlincote, Derbyshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said no other vehicles were believed to have been involved in the crash and appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
