CCTV released of 'tiger mask' robbery at Leicester grocers
Police have released CCTV images of two masked men who stole cash from a Leicester grocers after threatening the shopkeeper with a knife.
The robbers, one of whom was wearing a tiger mask, grabbed money from the till at the shop in Scraptoft Lane, near the Compass Road junction, on 8 September.
The second robber, who is believed to be Asian, wore a black hooded top and covered his face with a black cloth.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have found the tiger mask discarded.
Det Con Gavin Collins, of Leicestershire police, said: "This was a frightening incident for the victim and will no doubt leave a lasting effect on him.
"We would ask the public to take a good look at the images and contact us if they recognise the clothing or have come across the tiger mask discarded in the area."
